Sutro Heights Residence

Located in the Sutro Heights neighborhood of the Outer Richmond in San Francisco, this residential project aimed to create a comfortable, livable space for an active family who loves to host and entertain. The material selections were a mix of warm natural woods, layered textures, and handcrafted furniture to balance the new modern construction of the home: the Hay paper shade in the dining room is soft and understated; the ground-floor hangout space was treated with an earthy green-gray lime wash paint that adds interest and texture; and vintage furnishing throughout adds warmth. The overall space feels collected despite being new construction.
