Lake Tahoe Cabin (coming soon)

For this new 5,000-square-foot residence in Truckee, CA, near Lake Tahoe, the goal was to bring our signature vintage-modern aesthetic and sense of layered warmth to a contemporary mountain home. We had previously worked with the client on two homes and were brought on to design the interiors of their new retreat.

The selected furnishings included vintage pieces sourced from local and international shops, along with custom-designed pieces that blend mid-century Danish design with California sensibility. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding trees and mountains, we sourced handcrafted ceramic tile with earthy glazes, natural stone countertops, living brass fixtures, and Roman clay walls to bring texture and depth.

The primary bedroom features a statement custom deep green velvet bed with a full-wall mount headboard designed by our team and fabricated in Los Angeles. The result is a home infused with layers of hand-crafted textures, vintage finds, and natural materials that complement the new modern structure.
